A life shaped by courage, education, and care.

I came to the United States in 2002 at age 23. I began by studying English at Miami Dade College and, after becoming a permanent resident, enrolled in esthetics school. In 2006, I earned my esthetics license—the beginning of a career devoted to beauty, wellness, and personal care.

I continued my education at Florida College of Natural Health, earning an associate degree in Esthetics with advanced studies focused on medical aesthetics. In 2012, I welcomed my daughter, Mikaela—my greatest joy—and became a United States citizen.

When Mikaela was about 18 months old, I returned to school and later earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration. My goal was to unite my experience in esthetics with the knowledge needed to serve people in a professional healthcare and wellness setting.

In 2019, I opened my own business. During the pandemic in 2020, I earned my barbering license and created The Body Barber by Sandra, becoming one of the early pioneers of machine-based men’s body grooming in South Florida. I studied massage in 2023, expanding the wellness foundation of my work.

My long-term goal has always been to practice medical aesthetics. Today, every part of my education and experience continues to move me toward that purpose: helping people feel cared for, confident, and respected.
